Long before I became interested in the Middle Ages and the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), I was interested in Ancient Egypt. You might call me an armchair egyptologist. :) Though I'm nowhere near as qualified for the term 'egyptologist' as the people who've made it their career.
My interests in ancient Egypt include (but are not limited to) hieroglyphics, customs and costumes, herbalism, art, religious practices and literature. If only there were a group like the SCA that focused on ancient Egypt!

KMT - A Modern Journal of Ancient Egypt. This is the online version of the glossy magazine. KMT is the only magazine devoted entirely to ancient Egypt that is written both for scholars and average laymen like me. I love this mag!
Centre for Computer-aided Egyptological Research is not for the casual browser. But if you are researching something in particular, this may be the place you'd want to start. Lots of help and info here.
Neferchichi's Clip Art Tomb of the Chihuahua Pharaohs! Your source for ancient Egyptian clip art, a clipart font, multimedia learning about mummies, teacher resources, and more! Definately a must see site, especially if you want to add ancient egyptian clip art to your site, free! Most egyptian clip art on my pages is from this site (though not all).
