I don't really have multiple personalities, but people often comment that I might as well. :) I'm a native Iowan, currently living on the banks of the Mississippi. Mississippi River Beautification and Restoration Project The Mississippi River is one of the largest rivers in the world, providing drinking water for millions of people, as well as a source of entertainment, transportation, and even more important: a habitat for thousands of species. Unfortunately with floods, careless industry and thoughtless littering, the river has become a dumping ground for trash and debris. Check out this page to see the efforts of a small group of people and their sponsors in cleaning up the river and returning it to it's former beauty. The Project can certainly use any support you can give as well!
